The USCG announced Marinette Marine Corporation (MMC) of Marinette, Wis., has been awarded contract options, valued at approximately $60 million, for the construction of two 225-ft. Juniper "B" Class seagoing buoy tenders.
The two new buoy tenders, scheduled for delivery in 2001 and 2002, will be named Aspen and Sycamore in honor of retired buoy tenders.
