Pyrotek Distributes Centek Exhaust Systems

Centek Industries, manufacturer of fiberglass marine wet exhaust mufflers and systems, has appointed the Soundguard Division of Pyrotek to distribute the company’s products in the Pacific Rim.

Headquartered in Girraween, New South Wales, Australia, with offices in New Zealand, Dubai, Taiwan and China, the Pyrotek Soundguard division has been providing noise control solutions to boat builders and boatyards since 1972.

Centek’s list of custom mufflers and marine exhaust products has grown to over 14,000 specially designed units. Centek’s engineering staff offers customers over 80 years of marine wet exhaust system design experience. Centek engineers work with boat builders, marine architects, and engineers around the world to assist in determining the proper system for new or re-powered systems based on engine size, cost, and available space while providing a system that offers optimum engine performance and the best sound level and quality.

Centek’s fiberglass exhaust components are Lloyd’s Register Type approved, ABS type approved and meet or exceed ABYC-P1 standards.
