Cargotec Delivers MacGregor Equipment for India

In August, Indian bulk export specialists, VM  Salgaocar & Bros. Pvt. Ltd signed an agreement with Cargotec for the supply of a range of MacGregor transloading equipment for handling iron ore at the company’s new terminal in Goa, India. Cargotec’s scope of supply will include following MacGregor equipment: cranes, hoppers, a deck-conveyor system with a rated capacity of 2,000 tph and a shiploader.  

Cargotec will deliver its equipment by May 2011 and the terminal is scheduled to be operational in the latter half of next year.
