Seafarer US Pipeline System – EIS

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) issued a Notice stating that it is preparing an environmental impact statement (EIS) to discuss the impacts of the Seafarer U.S. Pipeline System project. The project, as proposed, involves a submarine pipeline to carry natural gas from the Bahamas to Florida. A public scoping meeting will be held in Palm Beach Shores, Florida on January 19, 2005.
